Juvenile Prison Ministry
The group of children targeted in this ministry are off the regular stream of children and those that require constant support in order to fall in the regular stream. Hence, to get them to analyse their strengths and weaknesses we as a team proposed to interact with them in different ways and means. The most appropriate way was initially to connect to them by way of funny dramas, dance, action songs, puppet shows etc.
Once the trust was built, we brought in comfort through the word of God by spiritual songs, dramas and one to one counselling sessions. It was at this point we realised the vulnerability of the children, and with burden hearts and great vehemence we strove very hard with God’s ability to love them and intercede for them. So, as a team we visit them periodically.
